Probably most of you already have the update, but in case you don’t, we recently launched an update for Achording which adds super crips graphics for the new iPad. It also contains some iOS 5 compatibility fixes.
We hope you enjoy it!

JamonApps team is really proud to announce that Achording for iPad is being featured as iKlip app of the week by IK Multimedia.
iKlip is an iPad accessory that lets you use your microphone or music stand as an iPad support. It looks ideal for reading and playing your favourite tabs on your iPad and it is the perfect companion for Achording app for iPad.
IK Multimedia has kindly offered to send us a review unit so we will be posting our thoughts about the product as soon as we receive it and spend some time using it.
In the meantime you can find more information about iKlip at their website: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/iklip/features/
We are aware that Achording is yielding no search results today and we are already working to solve it.
Our hosting service has decided to change our DNS records with no previous notice and now the app can’t reach our servers.
We apologise for the inconveniences.

Updated: All working fine again.
Hi everyone!
We are aware that some people are having trouble with version 1.6 of Achording every time they try to open a tab.
The bug has been identified and it only affects devices running iOS 4.0 and 4.1. An update was submitted to the App Store last night so it should be available very soon. Achording 1.6.1 update fixes the problem and it’s available on the App Store now. Alternatively, upgrading your device to 4.2 will fix the problem as well.
Apologies for the inconveniences!
The JamonApps Team
The JamonApps team is incredibly happy to announce that Achording is back!

Our server is up and running and everybody should be able to search for tabs again and enjoy learning how to play their favourite songs.
If you don’t have Achording yet, get the Universal App for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad here o clicking on the App Store image below. The Android version will be available in the Market very soon.

We are really sorry to announce that the Achording search services will shut down on 31/12/2010 at 00:00 GMT and therefore the apps will not be able to retrieve search results anymore.
The JamonApps Team intend this to be just a “see you later” and not a “farewell” and will keep trying to find a sustainable way to offer top quality and good looking guitar tabs for mobile devices for free.
We would also like to thank everybody who gave us some feedback (either positive or negative) andĀ apologiseĀ for any inconviniences this may cause you.
Sincerely,
The JamonApps Team
